The city of Norilsk (Krasnoyarsk Krai), the world’s northernmost city located above the Arctic Circle, and perhaps the most polluted and gloomy city in Russia. The life expectancy here is about 10 years less than average for the country. This is a really harsh industrial city and life seems to be not that sweet there. However, more than 175000 inhabitants live and work in this cold dark place.
