  1. as a Europhile,I think russian ambience is a great Russian website! I especially really like your website about the first Soviet beauty pageant in 1988 from a few years ago as well as a number of your other pages on your site.

  2. the UEFA Euro 1988 took place at the same time Moscow Beauty ’88 had(June 1988).Euro 1988 would be the last European football championship in which the USSR team would take part,as the USSR would dissolve in 1991.I just thought this would be some interesting historic trivia.the USSR was runner up at the 1988 Euro championship, which took place in what was then West Germany.

      1. I’m very happy to share the historic fact that Moscow Beauty 1988 coincided with the Euro 1988.I think it would have been extra interesting if the USSR had won the Euro ’88 Championship.don’t you think?

  3. I really do wish that you at Russian Ambience did not post that “Like” and “Yuck”after the article.it would have been far better if you posted the article WITHOUT reader comments of any kind(in my view)but the 11 Likes(Including mine) vs.3 Yucks is not bad.

    1. Hello, Nathan,

Thank you for the comment. Why would you wish that we no longer let readers post comments or any reactions?

  4. Because some commenters say bad things.have you seen YouTube? some commenters there write bad things
