Russian ice-resistant oil platform Prirazlomnaya in the Arctic

The ice-resistant oil platform Prirazlomnaya located in the Pechora Sea (Russian Arctic) about 55 kilometers away from the nearest settlement in Nenets Autonomous Okrug. This is the only one offshore platform which extracts the oil grade called Arctic Oil (ARCO) on the Russian continental shelf. This huge rig is able to withstand the extreme Northern climate and maximum ice loads.
